  • Dr. Laurel Gardner

Laurel Gardner, DVM, is a native of Miami, Florida where her parents
indulged and encouraged her natural love for animals. At the age of
three she determined to become a veterinarian, and that goal was
accomplished when she graduated from Auburn University's College of
Veterinary Medicine in 1986. Dr. Gardner entered private practice as an
associate with Dr. Ralph Womer at The Village Veterinary Clinic for a
short period of time and then found her niche in relief veterinary work,
which she has been doing for the last fifteen years. She currently
splits her professional time between relief work and a two day a week
associate position with The Village Veterinary Clinic, where she can be
    found on Mondays and Friday.

Dr. Gardner is committed to using her God given talents and giftings to
teach others to be the best stewards of their animals that they can be.
To that end, she encourages proper vaccination of all puppies and
kittens, routine spaying and neutering, a healthy diet, and twice yearly
wellness exams for all of her patients. Her current fascination lies in
    the area of feline nutrition.

Dr. Gardner is married to Mike, owner of a site preparation business,
and they have a seventeen year old son, Stan, who she has home educated
and is currently a senior in high school. Their family rounds out with
